Step-by-Step: Elizabeth Rex Poster

To get my creative juices flowing, I do some work completely unrelated to the day job. It often helps to work with other creative types because they tend to collaborate better. The following shows the general steps that went into a poster for Keegan Theatre.

Prep: A quick photoshoot starts with makeup and partial costume. But this is not the shot I need.

1st subject, Eric: After a tone of unusable shots, it’s actually the 2nd frame that’s good to go.

2nd subject, Kerry: 2nd subject: Again, one of the earlier shots works just fine.

Keric: … quick test and sizing to match up the images.

Cleaned: … the 2 images are fairly cleaned up and it looks sufficiently creepy!

alt text

Textured: … it was missing something?! Maybe a little texture with the right royal feeling color palette.

Elizabeth Rex Poster: … with the type treatment added (you know, all that so important info crap!) the poster is ready for review.
